Raider Wresting '09 Wrap-Up

This was another record breaking year for the Raider Wrestling team!  As a team, they broke the Most Wins in a Season record with 30 (27 was the record last season), Most Pins in a Season with 184, and Most Team Points in a Season with 2143.5.  Shane Evers broke the school record for Most Wins in a Season with 47 and Ezra Penn broke the Most Take-downs in a Season with 181.  

This year's team sent 10 of 14 wrestlers to Regional and 9 to Semi-state, with Ezra Penn advancing to the State Finals. 

Seniors Ezra Penn, Kyle Weaver, Shane Evers, Jordan Crider, Jack Cox, and FN Lutz III all had great seasons and scored a lot of points that will be greatly missed along with the leadership that they provided.
